SALIX – Removes Contaminants from Single-Wafer Cleaning Processes

SALIX – Local Waste Gas Treatment for Chemical Wet Cleaning Processes

The SALIX product family comprises compact, high-performance systems for local waste gas treatment in chemical wet cleaning processes with high gas throughputs. The solutions are specially designed to efficiently remove water-soluble gaseous compounds such as alcohols, water-soluble solvents, acids and ammonia. They also enable the reliable separation of particles, salts and droplets from the exhaust gas stream.

Typical areas of application are single-wafer wet cleaning processes, where stable and clean exhaust air conditions are crucial. SALIX systems are designed to enable particularly long maintenance cycles of over a year, thus ensuring high system availability.

The product family includes SALIX, SALIX MINI and SALIX MICRO – tiered solutions that offer optimum performance in the smallest of spaces, depending on space requirements, process requirements and integration level.

STYRAX DUO – Waste Gas Treatment for Demanding High-Volume Processes

STYRAX is DAS's high-performance product family for demanding high-volume manufacturing environments. The product family includes point-of-use burn-wet and plasma-wet systems with a particularly compact footprint.

It was developed specifically for process gases from CVD, oxide/poly/metal etching, epitaxy, GaN, MOCVD and LED manufacturing. STYRAX is characterised by high efficiency with low environmental impact and achieves excellent destruction and removal efficiency (DRE), for example > 95% for CF₄. Thanks to its high capacity for CVD gases such as H₂, SiH₄, TEOS and many more, as well as comprehensive safety measures, STYRAX protects the environment, health and equipment alike. STYRAX DUO is our standard version. Two scrubbing systems operate simultaneously. It is characterized by low water consumption through a closed-loop design.

ESCAPE DUO – Modular Burn-Wet Systems for Safe and Efficient Process Gas Cleaning

ESCAPE DUO is our well-established standard version designed with a double-reactor-scrubber combination offering two burn-wet systems that can operate simultaneously. It is optimised for up to four independent inlets. In case of malfunction or maintenance on one reactor, the other backs up the treatment of all waste gases (internal back-up), which ensures the equipment’s near 100 % uptime.

OTTELIA – Efficient Particle Removal from Semiconductor Process Wastewater

OTTELIA is an innovative solution for removing silicon dioxide (SiO2) particles from process wastewater - especially from wet-chemical cleaning and etching processes in semiconductor manufacturing.

The system reliably removes even the finest particles from the wastewater and thus creates the conditions for safe recycling of the treated water for reuse in waste gas purification.

ALCEA – Highly Efficient, Integrated DeNOx Solution for Post Combustion Waste Gas Treatment

Based on the proven DAS plasma-enhanced catalytic technology, ALCEA is a highly integrated and highly efficient secondary abatement system for use downstream of any NOx-generating waste gas treatment units. The process uses plasma technology to generate Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), which then serve as the basis for the catalytic reactions. 

Dependent on prior treatment steps ALCEA achieves exceptional NOx reduction efficiency of up to 95% with minimal energy consumption. Through the integration of the catalyst unit in the exhaust ducts ALCEA has virtually no footprint. The technical system can be easily fitted into the subfab’s exhaust duct system.
